The unveiling of the Tree of Life glass sculpture, commissioned from the National Glass Centre, University of Sunderland to grace the wall in the Bradbury Centre, the home of Age UK in Sunderland. The Tree is a way of marking events and memories. Anyone can buy a leaf of the tree to celebrate an event such as a milestone wedding anniversary or birthday, to commemorate a special memory or remember the life of an individual. Each leaf costs £120 and that price includes the inscription being engraved on the leaf.
