Sculptural Objects, Functional Art or SOFA is probably the world's most prestigious exhibition of contemporary glass. In November 2009 it was held in Chicago & as usual was an inspiration. Glass makers from around the world were represented by the very top galleries. A visual feast and inspiration for artists & collectors alike.

Corning Museum of Glass entertained visitors throughout the exhibition with a rolling programme of glass blowing, demonstrated by exhibiting artists on their mobile hot-shop!
The pictures here are of Tim Shaw an Australian glassmaker, who was represented by Kirra Gallery from Melbourne, Australia.
