Chris is a graduate of the Royal College of Art, London, holding both a Master’s Degree and a BA (Hons) in Glass. He is currently the CEO of Cumbria Crystal, the UK’s last remaining luxury lead crystal manufacturer. He is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers and an Ambassador for 'Be the Business'.

Prior to this, Chris was on the National Glass Centre’s Senior Management Team at the University of Sunderland, where he also served as Head of Commissioning, Enterprise, and The Studio.

Chris also designs and produces bespoke art glass, often inspired by his extraordinary adventures as a travel photographer. Other sections feature Contemporary Glass Sculptures and photo essays that offer behind-the-scenes glimpses as to how these unique pieces are created.

Over the course of 15-years as a lecturer in higher education, Chris led and developed three university-level programmes in Three-Dimensional Design and Commercial Interior Design, mentoring the next generation of designers and makers. His own creative work has been acquired by private collectors across the globe.
