Bleeding Earth was inspired by travels through Africa & parts of North of China & is a reflection on the environmental damage & soil erosion both natural & man-made that I witnessed.
This is a large work & incorporates 7 different coloured glass over-lays, to create the complex design. The vase has an ivory coloured opaque glass internal casing. This piece required a team of 5 glass blowers.
