This impressive glass cast provided many challenges to make - not just how to cast from a fabric cushion but how to include the texture of fabric & the impression left underneath by a pistol, but also technical ones of scale, weight & the challenging message of the sculpture. This is made all the more poignant when considered alongside some of the ongoing troubles in the world.
