At first glance 'graal' glass can appear uncomplicated. But each graal work, with its elaborate decorations can use up to 7 different colours & can take more than 30 hours to complete.
This is a hand blown graal vase incorporating 6 different coloured glass overlays, which are then carved using diamond tools to create the pattern.
In this work transparent emerald green is used to to internally case the vase, so from certain directions flashes of transparent green are revealed.
