All work is designed by Chris Blade; hand made; hand blown; cut and signed unless otherwise stated.
Graal work is always the product of a close working relationship with a skilled team - it cannot be made by one person. Teams of up to 5 people were involved in the blown graal works illustrated here.

Some of the newest works have been made in collaboration with Israel glass artist Katya Filmus (www.katyafilmus.com). These are all cast in a kiln & involve very different skill sets than the blown work. Pieces may take a month or more to make. Work made with Katya is identified in the text associated with each image.

Great work! I'm excited to see that you do the Graal technique! I learnt swedish overlay and graal at Pilchuck, but only do it with powder layers at the moment as I work alone. I'd love to come and lend a hand at NGC if you do more overlay work! I've just bought a Merker lathe too!

I have work all round the place at the moment & not in any specific galleries. We have been developing a range of new work which has taken 3 years which will become available soon & pics will be posted when I have time to take them.
If you are interested in anything currently on the website let me know the picture no & I'll let you know it's availability & price. Some work is not yet allocated to a gallery so would be more conservatively priced.
Thanks for your kind comment.

Love the work, where do you exhibit it?
